Javed Afridi, the major stakeholder of MG JW Automobile Pakistan shared a tweet that his company is planning to bring a cheap Wuling electric vehicle (EV) in Pakistan which price would be under Rs. 1 million.

The manufacturer of the Mini EV is The Wuling Hongguang in collaboration with General Motors and SAIC Motor. It was previously introduced in the Chinese market in early 2020. This model performed very well in the market and the company sold 160000 units by January 2021.
This small EV has two variants, the base variant has a 9.2 kWh battery and the other variant is with a 13.8 kWh battery which offers 120 km and 170 km respectively.
This mini has some amazing features like ABS brakes, tire pressure monitoring sensors, rear parking sensors, AC, power windows, huge trunk space, a stereo system and rear folded seats.
As per the tweet by Javed Afridi, its price would be under 1 million. Now we have to see if this car is coming with same features as already available in it. The main component of a car is Airbag which lack in this car.
Most of customers already welcoming this small car in Pakistan. And we hope that it will be sold out like hot cake.
